Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Nahati Technologies ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. It applies to nahati.online and to messages you send us by email, web form or messaging apps such as WhatsApp.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, organisation and the details of your request when you fill in a form or message us.
• Messages. The content of messages you send us, including through WhatsApp, and our replies.
• Technical information. Basic server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site secure and working.

We do not use advertising trackers on this website.

How we use it

• To reply to your request and provide the services you ask for.
• To send updates you have asked for, such as product launch news.
• To protect our services from spam and abuse.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run our services, such as hosting, email and messaging providers (for example Cloudflare and Meta for WhatsApp), and only as needed for them to do that work. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and messages for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of our work with you, and for no longer than three years after our last contact unless the law requires otherwise. Server logs are kept for a short period for security.

How we protect it

Information is stored on servers we control, with access limited to the people who need it. Connections to this website are encrypted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also stop receiving updates at any time. In Uganda these rights are set out in the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
